Our commitment as a group to sustainability is embedded in our overall corporate strategy. Our approach to business is hinged on operating responsibly and taking actions that are good for us, our customers, our society, and the world at large.
Our commitments to our priority areas which include People, Social, Economic, and Environment aspects show the potential for us to positively impact a wide range of interconnected issues/ challenges as they plague the world.
Our sustainable business model ensures we have a positive impact in our priority areas for all our stakeholders from sourcing raw materials locally, to having a very strong distribution base, employee well-being, and empowering our farmers and communities.
Our outgrower program focuses on empowering our farmers with inputs on credit, training on good agricultural practices and yield enhancement techniques to boost productivity and guaranteed off-take at prevailing market prices for higher incomes. Our farmers are also enrolled in our Farmer Business School to equip them with the requisite skills for building sustainable businesses.
Our commitment to growth across all our operations has been a driving force in our constantly evolving sustainability journey. We will continue to ensure accountability and transparency of all our sustainability core practices based on global Environmental Sustainability Governance standards.

We stand on our resolve that growth can only be achieved through inclusion, therefore our investments, initiatives, interventions and alliances are strategically centered around delivering rural inclusion and capturing more people into the formal economy.

We ensure responsible production in the processing of all raw materials by ensuring energy efficiency in all our factories. We also undertake continuous review of our processes. We ensure water waste is properly treated before dispersing out and in farming communities, it is highly safe for farming activities Other initiatives to promote environmental sustainability are the implementation of nursery establishment and tree planting across all our value chains in the communities we operate. We have contributed to the conservation of our environment and to combating deforestation and desertification by the distribution of seedlings for planting at our business locations and to farmers across our value chains.
